2024 Summer Intern
Isabell is a rising senior at the University of St. Thomas studying Environmental Studies and Business Administration, specializing in Entrepreneurship. She is a Cohort 4 Schulze Innovation Scholar, participating in a full-tuition scholarship program funded by the founder of Best Buy, Dick Schulze.
During her undergraduate experience, she spent two years as the Director of Sustainability for the Undergraduate Business Council at St. Thomas. Additionally, she has worked on campus as the Lead Creator in the create[space], a maker space fostering student creativity.
In the summer of 2023, Isabell performed market research and identified prospects at NETZRO, a twin cities upcycled food technology startup. She also worked on an independent project with the Luann Dummer Center for Women at St. Thomas, completing interviews and creating a podcast titled “On the Move”, which summarized her academic research.
Outside of educational and work commitments, Isabell loves to swing dance, spend time with friends, and bake. Her passion for food is built on an entrepreneurial spirit ever since she founded a bakery in high school and sold at the local farmer’s market.
